The 2008
season
will be
the first
time in
over 30
yrs that
the Rock
County
Speedway
in Luverne,
MN has
seen
regular
racing on
a regular
basis.
The
Facility
is Located
on the
Rock
County
Fairgrounds
in Luverne
MN on the
South East
Side of
town.
They will
Present 5
Divisions
of Racing
on
Saturday
Nights.
Heading up
the
Classes
will be
the USRA
B-Mods,
Stock
Cars,
Hobby
Stocks,
Outlaw
Stocks,
and Mini
Stocks. G
& G inc.
was formed
prior to
this year
to re-open
Rock
County
Speedway.
The
Racetrack
will
undergo
some
reconstruction
on the
service
and in the
program to
make it a
Track in
the upper
Midwest to
be known
for Fan
Friendly,
Fast
Racing
Program. A
New catch
Fence on
the front
straight
away will
be
installed
along with
lighting
and a new
racing
service.
Some water
Control
issues
will be
taken care
of as
well.
A New
Concession
Stand will
be
installed
in the
infield.
The 2008
racing
season
will be a
fun year.
Making it
that way
will be a
Dance,
Kid's
Night,
Ladies
Night,
Military
Appreciation
and Many
more
events for
the fan.
